We create awareness and educate communities, farmers and organizations on irrigation efficiency and water use efficiency.
Awareness Raising Among Communities -
ACF works with local organisations, farmers and communities to raise awareness of better water management in rural areas.
Micro-Irrigation Promotion -
ACF works with farmersto improve the sustainable use of water. We discuss, promote, demonstrate, and subsidise micro irrigation techniques to farmers (including Drip and sprinkler irrigation) to help them improve water use efficiency and optimize water supplies.
Empowerment of Local Institutions -
ACF works with organisations such as Water User Associations to ensure the proper management and maintenance of each water source. ACF helps them decide the rules for usage and helps identify ways to implement those rules.

Water Management in Gujarat
ACF has successfully been able to ‘reverse the tide’ and address the salinity that was impacting the lives of people in communities. As part of their 360-degree approach, ACF works with Farmers to help them use water more efficiently via drip irrigation and other methods, to protect water tables for the future.
